For this month, I was out on the road for a total of 29 days. I barely got a chance to make it home due to it has been really hard to make a profit as of lately. Overall, it was a pretty good month. I had a lot of long, good paying loads, and majority of them were on the lighter side. No truck issues this month! Thank God! I did a good surprise when I returned the trailer that I was renting though. A $3,000 return charge surprise! Fuel just kept going up as the month progressed. I couldn’t find a place to get fuel that was under $4/gal towards the end of the month! SMH! $2.11 is DAT national spot rate market for the dry van market. Let’s see if I can beat it this month! Last month I was .10 cents under. It does seem to be rising according to DAT, so hopefully we can finish the year strong!
