May 2024: How Much I Made As An Owner Operator (Dry Van)

The month of May was exactly what I needed to keep going in this horrible economy. After having a bad month in April, I really needed May to be a good one. There will be bad months but having consecutive months in the red, will have you rethinking about continuing being an Owner Operator. I was on the road for 24 days. Since the beginning of the year, I was finally able to enjoy 7 complete days at home, which has been extremely rare for a very long time! When I talk about how much money I grossed, please keep in mind that the month of May has 5 weeks, so I was paid by my carrier 4 times, the last pay week I spent it at home.
